Truck Insurance Specialists, LLC was formed in 2002 when Brett Krause and Patrick Patkunas joined the Snyder family of companies. They both came from Insurance Risk Managers a large Central Illinois agency and made up the transportation division at that firm. Brett started in the truck insurance business in 1989 after an 8 year career in the trucking business and Patrick joined IRM in 1996 and came from dispatching trucks originally and selling Class 8 trucks prior to starting his career in truck insurance. Jerry Bottorff joined TIS in 2007 and brings a 25 year background in the trucking business to the team.
All of the service staff at TIS are specifically trained in the trucking business and have first hand experience in handling the daily insurance issues that face our clients. Shelly Blessing and Julie Ohler stand ready to assist you with any problems or questions that may come up.
